There are a lot of people who debate about where personality comes from. Is it there when we're born or is it a product of our environment? I'm sure it's a bit of both, but when it comes to my girls, one thing I know for sure--those little personalities were evident from day one!
Even though these pictures are almost 3 years old, they are little glimpses into who Kaylee & Maya are to this day.
Kaylee, who is
the big sister
the little mommy
the rule-follower & insister of justice & rule following by all
the one who likes things done a certain way and can be rather insistent about it
the child who started making lists before she could spell actual words
the tender-heart
with a silly, giggly streak
And then Maya, who is
the jokester
the tester of boundaries
the go-getter (If she wants it, she grabs, climbs, sneaks, searches until she gets it!)
the one who understands people well enough to break a sad moment with silliness or an in-trouble moment with sweetness
the teller of elaborate and funny stories
who loves to snuggle
Yep, God knew exactly who He was giving us with each one, and I can't thank Him enough for it!
